How long do sessions typically last?
Simply put, it can be up to 50 - 55 minutes long. Sometimes it’s shorter or longer - and that’s ok!
What are your qualifications?
I hold a Master of Arts degree in counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Lastly, I am a Registered Clinical counsellor, part of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
What do you specialize in?
We specialize in working with couples, families, children and individuals. We work with those struggling with trauma, depression, grief, anxiety and so much more. As a BIPOC practitioner, I know there are struggles you go through and I would love to be a part of your healing process. Anything from finding housing to working through difficult emotions - I am here to support you the best way I can!
What are your hours?
We are available from 5 PM- 9 PM on weekdays and 10 AM-12 PM on weekends. Feel free to reach out to peakmoodtherapy@gmail. com for extended hours.

Absolutely! We provide support and allyship to individuals within the LGBTQIA2S+ community, offering a safe and inclusive space where all identities are respected and affirmed. Our goal is to empower clients to navigate their unique experiences and challenges with understanding and compassion. No matter who you are and what your background is, we are here to support you.

Do I have to pay upfront?
Currently, Peak Mood Therapy does not have direct billing. We require a credit card or EMT payment before sessions and a credit card on file before starting sessions.
What is the late and/or cancellation policy?
Here at Peak Mood Therapy, we require a 24-hour cancellation policy. Less than 24 hours notice is subject to a 75% charge. Showing up more than 20 minutes late will result in a 100% charge to the credit card on file.
What about CVAP, FNHA, RHAP or ICBC?
